You probably know it as the Smoky Mtns not Gatlinburg but yeah - HUGE VR demand for 100 years strong.

However it never made sense that Delta would partner with such an operation.my first "booking" through Search Stayz was for July 4th at my Palm Springs VR.

@Chase Yokoyama Fyi, most ppl who are in the VR biz on BP self manage remotely, myself included from more than 2,000 miles away. ie, don’t limit yourself to your local market.

When in reality they are utilizing your vacation rental for their personal reasons leaving you without that benefit...which for me is the main benefit of owning a VR...otherwise you might as well just get yourself a standard rental

@AJ HuYears ago I would use the P3 index to discern between B and lower...Pawn shops, Porn stores, and Payday loans.

Those seeking confirmation-bias of there fear-porn dooms-day scenarios will always grab to "well, well, what if you buy at this exact time, and sell at this exact time" lol, well DUH!

Also, there is no way to ensure the certainty of a "VR friendly market" or the longevity of VR friendly laws.  

As others have said, seek out established VR/STR markets.  

The VR space can be very rewarding in the right markets and most markets have some seasonality (some are highly seasonal) but what matters is total yearly revenue.
