Second, yes on the flip side, one could argue they should not have to pay for materials out of their own pocket especially when they are about to permanently attach those materials they paid for to your land or building.

We use a Google voice number so if it ever got ugly with a tenant they don’t permanently have our personal phone numbers.

I just wish you were a touch less confrontational about things you're actively asking to learn something about.And your whole positivity all-the-time kick...it reminds me of propaganda shots of the Hitler Youth and the Soviet Union's Young Pioneers, all those teenagers in line with wide fixed smiles enthusiatically doing calisthenics in the broiling sun, not a hint of the death camps or the gulags about them as they focused on an ever-more-brilliant future to come, the Thousand Year Reich and the Worker's Paradise.In this country, I have learned to deeply mistrust permanently positive people who melt into puddles and wail at the first sign of real hardship.

There's more vacation rentals here than permanent residences/long term rentals by an order of magnitude.
