There is a guy around my area that runs about 10 of them and makes big $$$ doing it .That’s interesting  one of our local county commissioners runs several group homes and is making good money as well  I’d thought about converting a six unit into a group home to increase the profits  you can get more per door for sure but depending on what you’re doing it requires some setup and employees - intellectually disabled adults vs other mental ailments vs substance abuse or halfway house etc.

I went from being active duty in the Navy (around $40k/year) to senior front-end engineer (around $150k/year) and running a profitable startup (another $150k/year) in a few years.Everybody's situation is different, but I think most of us can do at least something to increase their income.Having a ~70% Savings RateThroughout my adult life I have consistently maintained a savings rate of around 70%.

The federal government are handing out money (granted it’s just an advance on 2020 tax return but most aren’t aware of that) to essentially 90% of the tenant base at the rate of 1,200 a adult and 500 kicker per kid.

It takes an average of 60 days to find a tenant and attracts mostly college-age and young adults who are hard to vet due to little to no credit history etc...My Realtor says if I sell now I can get $1.6 million and I'm very much considering it although I doubt I'd easily be able to replace it with something else as the market is very tough right now and it'll likely take me awhile.Just wanted to hear any opinions anyone might have.
