Our units are in B+ areas so our tenants have credit in the high 700s, have over $10-20k in savings, and call us if we don't cash their check in a timely matter to make sure we got it in the rare event they aren't set up to auto pay electronically each month.

@Mike Huerta - a great buyer’s agent is a great negotiator to help you win the contract when there are multiple other offers, helps you negotiate repairs, helps connect you with good value contractors, sets you up on auto emails from mls for your target areas/criteria, and shows you or your associate the property addresses you state an interest in, within a reasonable time period (usually same or next day).

If people start to default on their auto-loans the economy would take a hit, albeit a minor hit.
