Large flat walls are cheaper than small areas with lots of cuts & corners.It will take a small crew about 7-10 days to hang drywall, tape and mud, then let it dry a day or two, then sand, mud again, dry again and sand again, finish and clean up.

I read the writing on the walls way back in the late 80's and 90's and systematically chemically stripped or physically removed any suspected lead painted trim, clapboards, antique doors, etc. from 1983 through 1989.

I figure if the renovation runs over the 28,000, I could concentrate on one of the two units and get one rented, use the rent from the first finished unit to fund the renovation of the second.
