I use Propstream nearly every day and its not a perfect system but it does have the capacity to provide useful information for building and creating marketing lists.

For my install a rubber mallet worked perfect to lock the ends in together. 

I think as individual mom and pop landlords we need to really temper our personal preferences with what is the overall good for our business.If I knit picked every little fault that my tenants have, then I would never have any tenants.I guess my point is that the perfect (to our own liking) tenant doesn't exist if you self manage.

They're excited and emotional when they sign and we want them to know what it's not going to be perfect once they move in to a 100 year old house and have roommates, neighbors, utilities, etc to deal with.

Should I push it and try and get someone in there ASAP or is it better to take my time making the place perfect before renting?
