We're in Medford, but I'd be willing to travel a bit to get it done right. 

well I appreciate the warm welcome and to be perfectly honest until I have a chance to get some deals going on and complete my first deal and then get some traction from my own company there may be a long while before I get to travel anywhere money is very tight with me right now I'm just trying to do the one deal and work on my own personal expenses about $5,000 to take care of what I need to be in an absolute better position to also fix my credit if I need to use it for that route and leverage some loans to get my deals done.

I chose these particular areas because the housing is cheap enough that I can buy a duplex or triplex relatively cheap and they’re close enough to where I feel like I can travel once a month to check in on the property.

I currently live in the Florence, SC area but, I travel throughout the whole state of SC and will continue to do it if neccessary.

@Kristofor Rahmas like @Cassi Justiz mention most agents usually work within their metro area or have a restriction to how far they will travel, for me I usually don't do more than 30 miles or an hour of travel time, traffic is congested in my area. 

I would recommend start listening to different podcasts (the one on BP here is have many pre-recorded) and see which of many RE roads you would be interested in and would choose to travel. 

So be at peace...many have traveled this path before you and lived to tell of it. 

Another huge thing coming up is Philadelphia is about to switch from the 2009 IBC to the 2018 IBC and 2015 IRC (we're in a dual-code overlap for another couple months).In the 2009 code, if you were able to meet your maximum travel distance, you could have a roof deck (4th floor) that exited out the 3rd floor of the unit it served and get away with a single means of egress.

Also I’ll be traveling there about a month overall per year so as long as the worst case scenario is breaking even I’ll take it. 

The travel is sort of the reward (The nice doodad car) for all the hard work and sacrifices.
