I am also new to this whole investing arena, so my advice is probably won't be as useful.In your situation, why not try and look into creating a corporation separating yourself from the investing business and use the business to accumulate your wealth.Of course, sought professional advice before you do this.

I've been looking for a way out of my horrible corporate office job, and be "self-employed" for several years now and so far have found several ways that don't work. :) I got interested when I heard about options and wholesaling, because I am in a spot now where I have very little $ and some debt, otherwise I'd open a futures day trading account and then start buying cash flow properties and other fun things.

She told me that both LLC and corporations have the benefit of limited liability, but with regard to taxes, s-corp (which can be a LLC with s-corp tax election) is usually better for active income (like flipping or wholesaling) and LLC taxed as a sole proprietor is better for buy and hold.
