I don't care if 99 of 100 homes in the area have K&T, I would NOT buy it and leave it with K&T anywhere.

It sounds like a few people on this thread don't really understand how PMC's operate or why they may charge extra fees.

Consequently,  there's rarely enough of a deviation in price between these auctions and what you can buy on the MLS/elsewhere with full diligence capabilities to make these transactions worthwhile. 

More traps, patch up holes, tell your tenants to be extra clean when dealing with food. 

It will be even harder as a young person with no life experience, and particularly no experience buying real estate.
