Typically a down payment is going to a "closing attorney"/"Title Agency" (depending location) and not a "securities attorney", however there are attorney/company offices that do both.

@Ethan KellerInsurance - Call up a couple insurance agencies to get some quotes.In general - houses with old roofs, old water heaters, old cooling systems will cost more in insuranceIf you are in a flood zone, expect to pay more in insuranceTaxes - You may be able to check the county assessors website for this information.Depending on the county, the taxes may reset when you purchase them.
