My property is located right in between the East Side and Stratford and it is very safe and a night and day difference from areas such as the East & West End.

Hey there, I live out in Dickinson and might be able to give some input of how rural it would be if the location is on the west side of the state. 

The turn key properties will be too expensive unless you are willing to live in a fringe neighborhood  on west side or SW side like East Garfield, Austin, Little Village, Woodlawn, etc. 

I'm looking at a couple of small multi-family properties in the Palm Beach County area (Lake Worth Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter)--mostly duplexes and triplexes--that my wife and I plan to house-hack. 

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I am active duty military currently stationed in Germany and I have been trying to get stationed in Tampa for about 10 years.

You guys are the wild west where anything goes. 

My wife and I are looking to house hack so we've been looking at properties in West Baltimore mainly since we both still work in Columbia.

Sell: I own a small one family in West Warwick which I live in.

In general I like the west side of town a lot better as supply is limited by geography whereas the east side has much less natural restriction to growth.
