I read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and I realized I was looking at it all wrong.

There's an unavoidable risk associated with owning anything: cars, boats, bikes, properties and businesses.That's what insurance is for.Also, don't assume hiring a PMC will protect you 100%. 1) You'll only be protected as good as they are2) No matter what any PMC does, there are bound to be lawsuits from tenants & ambulance chasing lawyers trying to "get rich quick".

The administration has been thoroughly questioned time and again on these controversial aspects such as increasing capital gains and ending 1031, to which they have consistently confirmed, unwaveringly, that YES this will happen, that yes they are targeting "rich" investors. 

So quick background on me, I got into investing because of the book Rich dad poor dad.
