Having worked in the medical field before recently retiring I have to say these personal care homes are increasing in number as "baby boomers" are aging and are having to address options besides actual nursing homes.  

The apartments are about one mile from Augusta’s medical district which could make the apartments attractive to nurses working at the hospitals.  

We are the biggest medical hub between DFW and Phoenix so you could easily get an RN job.

Houston has the largest medical center in the world (listen, the entire world!)

@Thomas Rutkowski We spoke probably a year ago when I was looking for options for my friend and his medical malpractice settlement.

I think that rent range is about right, you probably would need to do some minor aesthetic work first, mostly just paint, maybe new appliances, new outlets/light switches, etc. 27106 is generally a good zip code. 27103 is the center of the bullseye - most desirable neighborhood in town that isn't a luxury neighborhood - draws primarily medical professionals (also where I live) Most places Northwest/West/Southwest of Winston proper are solid.

We have a huge medical community here.
