If  you find it to be a mainstream concern or feel that demand for your rental is low, then maybe you can sway renters to choose recurring payments by offering to reimburse their payment fees every 6 months or every year.

Having worked in the medical field before recently retiring I have to say these personal care homes are increasing in number as "baby boomers" are aging and are having to address options besides actual nursing homes.

I think that rent range is about right, you probably would need to do some minor aesthetic work first, mostly just paint, maybe new appliances, new outlets/light switches, etc. 27106 is generally a good zip code. 27103 is the center of the bullseye - most desirable neighborhood in town that isn't a luxury neighborhood - draws primarily medical professionals (also where I live) Most places Northwest/West/Southwest of Winston proper are solid.
