I have no data to back up my opinion), I'll bet you would find that many who have made their fortunes in RE made it from appreciation, not cash flow.I'd love to hear thoughts on this and hopefully I qualified my comments enough to indicate that I don't believe on betting strictly on appreciation, especially if you can't support the property that you are buying with your reserves.

But I'm betting that I will be able to find so many more good deals then and I always try to be a contrarian and do what others aren't.Point is, learn all you can about both and you will be a truly well rounded investor who is positioned to take maximum advantage of either market at any given time for the best potential profits.

Rates on 30-year mortgages rose for a third straight week, striking the highest level in eight months and the30-year, fixed-rate mortgages averaged 6.42 percent and the rates on 15-year, fixed-rate mortgages, a well-liked choice for refinancing, rose to 6.12 percent this week, up from 6.06 percent last week.Rates on Five-year, adjustable-rate mortgages averaged 6.19 percent, up from 6.02 percent and One-year, adjustable mortgages were the only category to show a decline, dipping to 5.57 percent from 5.64 percent last week.CheersSamantha
