The people in this business are worse than fisherman when it comes to telling tales.

I just purchased my first rental property (Canada) about a month ago and I've had a few problems with people applying, giving me a deposit, and then dragging their heels about signing the lease.

I can tell you what people here have done to set themselves up for retirement.

I have listened to lots of people way smarter than me (here and elsewhere) and every single one says there is really nothing to worry about, and they have never heard of a bank calling the loan.

I already know people who can help me with managing my investments and have people who would do great job renovating my apartments.
