Call the comps and speak with the property manager or experienced leasing agent and ask a ton of questions, but be respectful of their time as they don't have much for someone not renting a unit.  

I was able to locate one in my previous city (same state), so would if be productive to try to use a closing attorney in another city or in the experience of my fellow investors, does that generally cause too much headache to manage? 

We are managing the project 100% since they are out of state.

I currently work as an engineer and project manager in the healthcare industry.

My client wants to buy a new location in Ohio and live in one of the Hotel Units while managing the location.

The odd part is that the room entry is right off the front entryway where there's a tiled landing.

Short term is very management intensive and should be furnished including all kitchen, bedroom and bathroom necessities.Long term standard rental - unfurnished.

I have done research and ran some numbers on multiple properties but have yet to find a realtor that has experience in investment properties or a property management company to go with.

Also my brokerage has a full property management division.

For this, we just have an LLC set-up and we are both managers of the LLC.
