Is anyone familiar with a similar interface that doesn't cost such an exorbitant amount?

I assumed the energy he brings during his podcasts would transfer to the audiobook, but it doesn’t.

That doesn't mean to pull the trigger on a deal before you understand the downside as well as the upside, and it doesn't mean to make a deal just because you've invested your time in analyzing a deal and don't want that time to go to waste.

We are in California which probably doesn't help things for us buyers.

Doesn't involve second liens, additional interest expense and allows you to build equity immediately. 

A landlord policy likely doesn't even have coverage for a tenant's personal property. 

May not be seasoned enough, but doesn't hurt to ask.
