As nice as the inside is we need to boost the curb appeal for maximum rent! 

I’d be tempted to pimp the curb appeal more (if that exterior pic is a finished one).

I renovated the empty unit at closing helping increase income immediately and the exterior is about 60% done now, just need to do the curb appeal aspects and re-foam the roof. 2/4 air conditioners replaced.

In the past, it has taken me an entire year simply to get a variance/go through the zoning appeal process, notwithstanding the actual work, construction, and so on (and even minor repairs requiring permits have taken multiple, multiple months due to the building department).Good luck!

I am single and don't have a family, so single family houses didn't appeal to me.

Fortunately, I hired an expeditor to work on it and had the unit legalized as an office for my business and spent $6,000, and the expeditor appealed to the city not to impose fines normal in these cases as I bought it at foreclosure to alleviate neighborhood blight. 

I pulled a few from online to get ideas from but honestly was not impressed by any and did not think they looked to visually appealing and just thrown together.
