I was merely speaking of posting it on social media / non MLS ads (since he isn't an agent he can't advertise on the MLS regardless).How I understand it in our state one has to ask for permission from the listing agent and state it isn't theirs (if they want to be ethical).

I am unsure who my sister in law uses to screen the tenants, but I also look them up on social networks, such as facebook, linked in etc.
