What about management fees (even if you manage it yourself you need to make those calculations, usually from 7-10%.)If the above numbers are correct then this gives you a 27% return on your money.

Hello Sean.I'm not sure how you plan on setting up your US investment structure, but this endeavour will not be easy at all, but it's doable.I am an investor, property manager and broker and as an investor with all of the expenses (overhead) it takes to invest in the US (Houston, Texas to be exact) from abroad, you have to really be particular on what you buy and hold.

They're not interested in REI and they're not in a spot to fix it up and rent it out.I proposed that I would fix it up, get a renter and manage the property.
