We could, in the future rent one unit and live in the other. 

One tenant has lived there for 13 years & disabled with assistive devices in place, so most likely won't move out.In a C class area.

You have to be able to live below your means to be able to have cash ready for all those little things that WILL come up.

A buyer that lived in the apartment complex down the street saw our yard sign and approached us with an offer right away.

Accessory Dwelling units are allowed if you intend to live in the home.   

It's in a solid neighborhood with great schools (that's why we lived there for 17 years).THIRD, as a side note, we are also in the position to pick up another rental property within the next year or so.
