For example, on a given night in poker, I could easily win or lose $10K -- in real estate, you'll spend weeks/months to win/lose $10K.In poker, if you go on tilt and make some bad decisions, it may cost you some money, but you'll wake up the next day ready to start over -- in real estate, you may have months of lost sleep waiting for a deal to finally be over so you can "start fresh."

That sofa is the bed for the tiny apartment - the recliner piece lifts up to hold blankets and pillows and under the seat area is a trundle bed that lifts up to fill in the "L" to make a queen size sleep surface - very comfy - not like a traditional sleeper sofa.

Hard to time a market, be it the real estate market or the stock market.If you're buy and hold, then dollar cost averaging helps you sleep at night and market timing isn't really that big of a deal, in fact a falling market is what will help you eventually build equity as you're buying in the down market knowing those prices will eventually go back up.Those of us with a get rich slowly mentality have a lot less to worry about in regard to market timing.

This complex is a 2 bedroom apartment on the main floor, 5 "sleeping rooms" on the 2nd floor and 5 "sleeping" rooms on the 3rd floor. 1 of those has a small/tiny kitchen.
