Hi BPers -I am looking for an architect in the Chicagoland area who is familiar with the Chicago permitting process.The work I am looking to do is knock down a kitchen wall and bedroom wall in order to open up the space of a duplex Does anyone in this forum have a recommended architect they’ve used in the past?

I’m looking to get my brokers license in Chicago and take my brokers exam as soon as possible.

With the country slowly opening up I'm thinking people's mindsets could be starting to change, especially considering the dire financial situation of so many right now.But then again, since it's basically impossible to evict tenants right now, I'm thinking that could hurt wholesaling as very few of my cash buyers ever really want to buy with a pre-existing tenant, let-alone a non-performing pre-existing tenant.Another reason I've been poking-about to figure out a way to continue wholesaling in this climate, is because a lot of the most successful people talk about thinking "bull" (market) when everyone else is thinking "bear" (market). 

Everyone said it was a terrible time to get into real estate but I'm smarter than the average bear (not smart, just smarter than average) and I work hard to make my own success.

I send out several thousand pieces per month here in my local Chicago market, which gets me around 1-2 leads each mail campaign.
