Our initial decision-making criteria for relocating was to be closer to our aging parents, benefit from the lower cost of living, and enjoy the beach lifestyle.

These are all mins away the bigger more popular beaches, but are more "resident friendly" they have fewer bars and restaurants clustered together making them less ideal for tourism without sacrificing the "run downstairs to eat" lifestyle.

I am fortunate that I do not owe on my duplex but we’ve handled selected two tenants that fit with our lifestyle and therefore have the other side rented at under market value.
