How can Memphis government workers get away with something so disgraceful?

Having had numerous Section 8 tenants, some of whom have been great, I hate having a bureaucratic government WONK deciding my fate.

Condos and their regulations suck.The reason for my opinion is that the HOA documents govern EVERYTHING!

When the government shuts down, the Section 8 'guaranteed' payments can be halted. 

For those who truly want to come into the communities and improve the neighborhood  they find that urban governments are rolling out the red carpet.I would love to know what others think on this topic?   

I like keeping property reserves in a brokerage account where I continuously roll them over into US Treasury T-bills at government auctions ranging from 1 to 6 months in duration.

The government is not friends of landlords and does not care if I succeed or fail.
