Depletion, as @Dan H. had mentioned, which we mitigate by constantly adding inventory to depleting wells that come online.

Best way in: be specific about what you want to learn, be flexible on timing, and offer real help (coffee, site cleanup, admin, whatever) in exchange for their time.
