I’m Selma, based in Florida, and I’ve been diving deeper into property management and the tech that makes real estate operations more efficient.

We have a cobbled together system that sure, it works, but when you cobble so much together next thing you need other systems just to help "tape" things together making the tech stack all the taller.

I have been trying to figure out which works best before buying my first property.This is what I observe:Excel spreadsheets - free but time consumingQuickBooks - $30/month but too complexStessa - free version is good enough but runs out of steam soonOther landlord software - from $20-40/month with mixed reviewsWhat's irking me is that the majority of these tools either make you feel like a huge property management company or as if you're not very tech-savvy.

We currently employ 6 techs.

Hey @Jaycee GreeneI'm not looking to become a lender :) However, my background is in software (startups and big tech like Google, etc) so I'm interested in learning how specific pain points that I've encountered as a borrower could be solved and that requires a bit of diving deep on both lender and borrower sides!

Love the transition from automotive to tech and now real estate! 

The demand for MTRs in Austin has been quite steady, especially with travel nurses, contractors, and people relocating for tech jobs.
