Anyone with any insight on renting out coops if the board approved it?

Each tenant living in a building has their own unique rent amount, so even if they do not leave a notation with the rent payment, I know whom paid the rent based on the amount alone.

This is why I do not use third party vendors for rent collection. 

Some cool benefits include their Lease Indiciation Tool (helps predict the likelihood of a tenant renewing the lease giving you the chance to renew early and/or increase monthly rent if you know someone wants to renew), Expense Tracking, Tenant Communication (via their app), Maintenance Requests, Tenant Payments, and more.

Since this move might be temporary, I’d lean toward renting in VA unless you find a great house hack opportunity (maybe a small multi or 2-bed where you rent a room).

Id ask how many units they rent out and how long they've been a landlord for.

This limit is reduced to one month's rent if a tenant is 62 years of age or older.
