Find ones that don't sound like they are selling snake oil. 

Different strategy, different mechanics.I'd say you were a snake oil salesman, but generally speaking you need to be a good salesman to be a snake oil salesman.

I read about these guys all the time and have pretty much decided that if they are advertising, they probably are snake oil.
