I invest in non-performing notes and I am also a long term buy and hold investor with properties in CO and IA. I have used many of the RE financing strategies out there: traditional financing (VA, FHA, and conventional), "house hacking", private money, and partnerships with others. I absolutely love the flexibility that RE investing allows. The only limiting factor in RE is yourself, and I'm hooked!
My day job is IT and IT security. I would like to build enough cash flow to consult part time and invest the rest.
