I bought my first rental property in 2002. At the time I was self employed and I was looking for a way to create some income so that if I couldn't work I could still pay my bills. I only intended to pick up a few units but I got addicted to the cash flow and the deals... About 5 years after I bought my first one I was making enough to give up my Computer Training business and jump into this full time. Now, 100+ units later, with dozens of rehabs and wholesale deals under my belt I can't imagine having to work a regular job again.
In addition to managing my investments, I also coach/mentor people that are interested in buying rentals.
