I'm just a guy wanting to learn about real estate investing. I have had a real estate license in the past and worked in the NYC metropolitan area in the apartment rental business. Unfortunately the walking involved in the New York city Manhattan region I was in tore my back up just as I was beginning to get the hang of what I was doing.
Since that time I went on to get my accounting degree and free lance as a book keeper for my income and self direct my investments in the equities markets.
I self direct a portfolio of consumer debt loans. Between the three activities I manage to make a living and put more money away but I have no real property and want o look towards adding passive income from rental properties to my income stream as well as flips and wholesaling of properties.
I have also had experience as a facilities manager, suburban home development on the construction side of matters from sewer and water pipe laying to housing construction.
I am practical and numbers oriented. If the numbers don't make sense the property could be the Taj Mahal and I will "just say no."
