I bought a house when I was younger and less experienced and started out by house hacking it. After renovating it I cash flowed it fairly well for over 5 years. I sold it then bought a small multifamily in Baltimore that has been cashflowing extremely well though I have put a substantial amount of money into it. The cash on cash is quite high in my current property. I would like to note I managed a large variety of properties full time in the DC and Baltimore area before being comfortable enough to buy and renovate that multifamily I manage properties professionally. I have worked as a realtor and have project managed single and small multi family for others along with full service property management for properties in Maryland. Most of my expertise is tied to buy and hold real estate. I hope to meet new colleagues here I can work with while also providing educational content to help people avoid making mistakes.
