Amy Thompson

I grew up in Annapolis, Maryland where I spent my summers horseback riding, swimming, fishing, and crabbing for the infamous Chesapeake blue crab! I moved to Vermont 26 years ago with my husband and attended Lyndon State College, obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. I worked as an Athletic Trainer before taking time off to start a family and a farm. We raised Clydesdale horses, and always had a few goats around for entertainment! I went back to work in the school system once my children were older, and spent the past 2 years as the Athletic Director for Craftsbury Academy. I now live in Wolcott, VT with my 4 children, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 23 chickens, and 2 geese...so I know how to multitask! I’ve always had a passion for Real Estate and decided to finally take the leap and get my real estate license! I love to research properties and uncover their unique histories. From contemporaries to antiques, bungalows to horse farms, each property has a story. I hope my experiences can help guide you in the search for your ideal Vermont property. If I’m not working, darting kids around as a “soccer mom”, or taking care of animals, you’ll find me out on a run, biking on the beautiful back roads, or in the hot yoga studio!
