I have always wanted to get into real estate/rentals from a young age. I worked two jobs, invested in stocks, built my credentials over time, bought my first property, put more work in to prepare it for tenants, and after nearly working myself to death have a home I live in, and rent three rooms. I bought the home September 2023 with mortgage rates at recent highs and peak property prices. The home pays for itself and $250/month in utilities. I cover the rest myself and live in the largest room and have my own garage. I want to do this again and am looking for investors. My goal is to buy a 5-6 bedroom with a better cost per room ratio and replicate what I have done. I will manage both properties and tenants myself. I have run businesses myself as a general manager and am good with people from a management perspective as well as balancing books, choosing the right people, and pulling it all together. From what I see on the market I should be able to do what I did on this property with a 5-6 bedroom and be able to profit $1,000+ per month.
