I'm just getting into the realm of REI at 35 years old. Already over a short time period, I have learned a lot from a handful of strongly recommended books, some mock analysis of deals on various MLS portals, and scratching the surface on Biggerpockets forums and podcasts. Every day I am making efforts to learn more and grow into the person who would look back and thank the old me for doing so. I'm not in a position to dive in on offers yet. I'm working on correcting my current DTI ratio, stabilizing and saving before moving into serious offers on deals. Until then, every day I seem to have another question that needs answers. Each new day I find myself wanting to reach out to agents here in Las Vegas for market specific information, contractors for their opinions on costs for a specific property, or maybe a lender for expectations on rates and future plans. Without wanting to waste their time of course, I'll stick to biggerpockets until I get closer to being able to act on a good deal.
