About 10 years ago, I had a friend introduce me to Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It opened my eyes to possibilities and mindset I didn't know existed as I had come from a very small town(about 3,000 population) in South Dakota. The intrigue of owning my own business and investing has never been far off in my mind ever since. In 2017 I became a Realtor to get my foot in the door of real estate. I wanted to learn more about it and get myself out of my comfort zone, which believe me, it certainly did. Although it was a short lived experience, it taught me so much. I had to leave the Realtor position due to a family emergency but the goal was always to become an investor. Now that I am back in state and getting re-established, I realized it is time to get started on the end goal which, again, is investing. I look forward to learning a great deal more and start making not only some deals, but a better future for myself.
