Hello fellow BP members! My name is Patrick and I'm a 31 year old engineer who has been in the "rat race" for 7 years. I was raised with the typical "Poor Dad" mentality of go to school, get a job, live below your means, save as much $$ as possible and by the time you're 65 you'll be able to retire and enjoy life! What a great plan! NOT After three years working long hours and sacrificing my time and happiness for someone else's dream I decided that I needed an escape plan from my job. I threw myself into stock trading with poor results. Discouraged and depressed I groped around for another exit strategy. I found real estate about a year ago and became obsessed. Since then I've tried to learn as much as possible and get some positive momentum going with my real estate career.
