I grew up helping my mom clean and rehab apartment units for my grandparents and great-grandparents. I enjoyed watching each unit get transformed and updated between long term tenants. My grandparents sold most of their investment properties in Montpelier, Vermont and are only in one at the moment. I am interested in purchasing properties in my home town, where there is a college and a manufacturing plant that has an aggressive 5-year expansion plan. This means that demand for housing will be significantly increasing! I am hoping that this will also revive an aging community. I currently owner-occupy 4.7 acres in a nearby town that is being rehabbed and hope to airbnb a bit from here and see where that leads.
