Hi There, I started my real estate journey after, you guessed it, reading Rich Dad Poor Dad in 2013. Hands down best book to read (or listen to for multitaskers), for newcomers looking for a place to start. Exploring Bigger Pockets is great too! Rich Dad Poor Dad fundamentally changed how I view all things financial. I have a full time, blue collar, 8-5 job. Ultimate goal is to eventually transition from the “E” to “I” quadrant. I mostly do buy and hold investing in Milwaukee's north and south side neighborhoods. Love using the brrrr strategy! Some advise for beginners would be, educate yourself, network, set goals and take action. For most, real estate investing is a slow process, so be patient as your portfolio grows.
