I'm a professional engineer/construction manager by day, and have a wealth of experience in heavy construction, including sitework, concrete, and major industrial rehabs. I build furniture and have a lot of personal experience with residential construction as well. My wife and I turned our first home into a rental, and bought a second rental a year later. We had to put our future investments on hold while we moved a few times for my day job, but are currently looking for new properties to begin seriously investing. We self manage our rentals and do most repairs and upgrades ourselves.
