My name is Christa. I am a 34yr old mother of four. My husband, Matt, and I are looking to invest in real estate. My husband is a welder and a mechanical construction worker. He is great at what he does but can not continue in his line of work much longer. Last August he jumped off the back of a pick up truck and totally shattered his heal. The surgeon told us that his injury is a, life changing injury. Since then he has had two surgeries and was told that he is now going to be disabled for the rest of his life. So why real estate. I have always been fascinated with houses and real estate. I currently work for an agent and am learning the business from that point of view. My husband and I always said that we would like to invest " someday" but watching him every day in pain changes everything. My "why" is my kids and my husband. I know that he will not be able to provide as he has in the past. We have four kids and a future that we need to make sure is taken care of. I don't want to wait until he can't work anymore, I want us to start now!
