Courtney Cotton

Courtney Cotton is the General Partner or the Manager of Queen City Properties of Ltd. Queen City Properties, Ltd. is the natural culmination of many experiences in Cotton’s life, which led her to the belief that she could obtain better returns on real estate investments than in the stock market. She started her career as a licensed interior designer and general contractor in North Carolina, but as a fifteen year resident of Denver, Cotton has seen the city’s many transitions. Her experience in the multi-family real estate sector began in 2011, when she and a partner bought three multi-family units. Those units proved to be profitable investments and remain so today. After being bought out by her partner, Cotton worked for a top producer at Your Castle Real Estate, a Denver firm that specializes in income properties. At Your Castle Real Estate, Cotton had the opportunity to learn from some of the best analysts in the Denver metro market. Cotton also owns a single family rental property in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Miami and a passive investment in a 330 unit apartment building in Dayton, Ohio. As a member of Investment Community of the Rockies, Cotton has had the opportunity to learn from local and national leaders in apartment investing, and has studied real estate investing with Anthony Chara, Susan Lassiter-Lyons and Chris McClatchy. Cotton has put together a team of very knowledgeable individuals to help run her current acquisitions. By decreasing expenses, adding value to the properties, and use of leveraged financing, Cotton believes that QCP can offer a high return rate on investments.
