Hi BP! I am a new investor looking to get started in the Alberta Canada market. My primary residence for the last 3 years was turned into a rental unit that barely breaks-even. I have learned lots in the past 2 years on biggerpockets and wish i had found this website before i purchased my condo. With new knowledge and a whole lot more confidence, i have no narrowed my search down to the lethbridge market. My 2018 spring goal is to purchase a single family home to house hack or duplex to rent out the other half. 5% home buyers definitively helps out with the numbers.
