Ginger Brown

Hello! My name is Ginger, and I made the leap from professional civil engineer to real estate investor when my second child was born. In my engineering career, I designed and managed projects ranging from residential subdivisions to commercial site development, bringing projects from initial conception through permitting and construction. My husband and I invest in both Wyoming and Alaska. We currently own four duplexes, one single-family home, and a vacant lot where we plan to build four additional units over the next few years. Approximately 75% of our portfolio consists of long-term rentals (LTRs), with the remaining 25% in short-term rentals (STRs), all located in Alaska. Right now, our focus is on maximizing returns and improving systems for our existing properties while strategically adding units to properties we already own. We also plan to continue acquiring rental properties as we grow our portfolio into a steady income source—ultimately creating the freedom to leave our W-2 jobs, pursue passions, spend more quality time with family, and potentially start our own business.
