Hello all! I am new to the real estate investment world. I have some prior knowledge, but I have yet to land my first deal. I'm looking to change this within the next 6 months! My background is in financial services to include banking, insurance, and investments. I paused my career to focus on raising my children, and now that they are older, I am ready to restart my career in another direction. I worked with individuals and companies on contract basis consulting and coaching throughout the last ten years. I kept busy with multiple side businesses, as well. Currently, I am a Wealth Coach that works with my clients to restore their credit, get out of debt, and invest in income producing assets to build generational wealth. The name of my company is Fix It For Good: Wealth Empowerment Coaching. (www.jamilatunu.com) I want to practice what I preach, and I chose real estate, specifically, commercial real estate, to produce cash flow. Everything I do now must fall in line with my mission which is the break the generational chains of poverty in urban communities through education and economic empowerment by mastering my resources and teaching others to do the same.
