Jordan Hanksion

I recently was spoken to about the merits of real estate investing from a friend in politics while living in the state capital of Wisconsin, Madison. In particular he was telling me of the benefits of buy and hold rental properties, the pot at the end of the rainbow being building your wealth from a distance using other peoples money (OPM, apparently, you investment people sure do love acronyms). So, to start off I want to clarify that I am, obviously, no expert when it comes to the subject of real estate investing, rental or otherwise. However, I have been undertaking a great deal of research (certainly more than I ever cared to do in high school or college unfortunately) and, after looking at the websites, blogs, personal narratives, and even after the conservative "real estate ain't a walk in the park" rhetoric. I believe I am willing and able to pursue this particular path towards financial independence. I am looking forward to using all that the people of this website, and others have learned to create a life for me and my family where money removes itself as the primary worry.
