15 years ago I read the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad and bought my first few investment properties. I've been in the real estate industry ever since and for the past 15 years I've been a commercial real estate broker. Over the years I've worked on office, industrial, and large land transactions, but my focus was primarily retail shopping centers and retail tenants. I recently moved to Gainesville, FL and am looking to invest in residential fixer uppers or turn key rentals. And if the deal is right, I'd love to buy a value-add commercial property.
