My wife and I are multi-family real estate investors who buy both value add and stable apartments out of state. We own 45 units and are looking to pick up more. We currently have properties in Houston and Charlotte. Experience: Own apartment complexes in both Houston, TX and Charlotte, NC. Also looking into renting out my current primary residence so am working out the tax details and renovations now to prepare it for that. Real Estate Goals: Buy and hold real estate investor who focuses primarily on multi-family apartments. Goal is to use passive income to replace my primary income. Currently Seeking: Small to medium size apartments in Charlotte, NC. Looking for value add or stabilized units with current occupancy of >90%. Conservative cap rate must be >8%. Lower income neighbors are OK, but area must be safe (aka: No war zones).
