My husband and I currently own and manage a buy & hold single family home (SFH) in the Hendersonville, NC area. We are seeking to grow our REI portfolio and looking for SFH (buy & hold with minor cosmetic issues) and small residential multifamily properties in the Charlotte, NC area. Price: SFH under $250k, Small MFH under $400k. Strategy: Buy & hold smaller SFHs w/ minor cosmetic issues, then purchase small multifamily properties. We would like to BRRRR as well as live-in-flip several properties along the way. Current status: Narrowing the market by zip code and neighborhood, and analyzing deals via the MLS. We will be doing this for a few months into 2023 while my family travels for my current job which will generate cash flow to fund our next few deals. Goals: Short term- financial independence, and cash flow. Long term- trade single family home properties for larger vacation properties and build generational wealth.
